LUA D'ENIGMAS

Consulting Firm

Our Firm

Established in 2022 in the Tejo region, our consulting firm supports wineries throughout Portugal in their projects of creation, restructuring, or transition towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. Born from the experience gained at Lua d’Enigmas, it extends the same guiding principle: observe, understand, then act with measure.

With complementary backgrounds, David and Sacha combine their skills in oenology, agronomy, and project management to offer tailored support, from soil to bottle. Their approach is based on scientific foundations, listening to the living world, and the desire to share know-how with winegrowers and project leaders.

Each mission aims to support the winegrower's autonomy, highlight the peculiarities of their terroir, and place the operation on a sustainable path, balancing sustainability, innovation, and respect for local customs.

Our Expertise

We operate across the entire chain, from vine to cellar, with a global and applied vision. The support offered is based on field experience, research, and regular monitoring of sustainable practices in Europe.

In the vineyard: soil and vigor diagnostics, design of adapted cover cropping plans, water stress management, and canopy conduct. Recommendations seek to improve grape quality while preserving the biological fertility of soils and local biodiversity.

In the cellar: grape reception, fermentation routes, temperature management, extraction choices, and reasoned use of SO₂. We help define aging processes in vats, wood, or on lees to reveal the fruit's potential without masking the terroir's identity.

In strategy and management: work planning, cost tracking, team training, and implementation of quality protocols. The goal is to make each estate more autonomous and structured, consistent with its history and environment.
