Our consulting firm was born from a dual foundation: field experience and the concrete development of our own project.
David Ferreira brings over 20 years of experience as an oenologist and a deep knowledge of the Tejo, its terroirs, grape varieties and the balance needed to produce coherent wines in this region.
This expertise is complemented by our path with Lua d'Enigmas, built as landless winemakers: without our own vineyard or dedicated cellar, but with a clear vision and the ambition to create quality wine from scratch.
This journey taught us to master every step of a wine project: selecting grapes, reading a terroir, defining a style, vinifying, building an identity, managing costs and planning the route to market.
That is our difference: we do not separate vineyard, cellar and market. We accompany projects from the soil to the bottle, and from the bottle to the customer.

Sacha François
David Ferreira
Oenologist and ecological engineer, Sacha François trained in Switzerland and France in sustainable viticulture, ecology and the study of living soils.
Franco-Portuguese oenologist, David Ferreira has over 20 years of experience in the wine sector, with a deep knowledge of the Tejo, its terroirs, grape varieties and the balance needed to produce coherent wines in this region.
He then complemented his training in Italy with a specialisation in wine economics and viticultural marketing, before dedicating himself fully to the development of Lua d'Enigmas.
Named "Enólogo do Ano 2023", he develops an approach founded on precision, balance and the search for a genuine expression of wine, in constant contact with the realities of the field.
Within Lua d'Enigmas, he brings a cross-disciplinary approach: understanding soils, preserving biodiversity, producing wines that tell the story of a terroir.
His dual Franco-Portuguese culture enriches his reading of wine, between European tradition and Atlantic vitality. Within Lua d'Enigmas, he brings the oenological expertise and technical mastery needed to create wines that faithfully reflect their origin.
